What Time Does the Superbowl Start on Sunday?
How much do Super Bowl ads cost, Three million dollars. That’s the estimated cost for putting a 30-second ad on TV for this Sunday’s Super Bowl XLV. In the last decade companies have put down more than $1.6 billion for a spot during the big game. Is the investment worth it? Advertisers like Career Builder say it is.
This year social networking will also be a big player. Many companies are using facebook and twitter to create interest in their ads. Others are using YouTube to help stretch the millions of dollars spent beyond the game.
When it’s time for the kickoff of the game, Jerry Jones will be smiling as the world admires the Stadium that he built. The stadium is the largest domed stadium in the world, has the world’s largest column-free interior and the largest high definition video screen which hangs from 20 yard line to 20 yard line. Cowboys Stadium replaced the partially-covered Texas Stadium, which opened in 1971, and served as the Cowboys’ home through the 2008 season. It was completed on May 27, 2009. The stadium seats 80,000, making it the fourth largest stadium in the NFL by seating capacity. The maximum capacity of the stadium, including standing room, is 110,000. The Party Pass (open areas) sections are behind seats in each end zone and on a series of six elevated platforms connected by stairways.
I hope you all enjoy America’s game in the Stadium of America’s team the Dallas Cowboys.
