Strike Gently Has Been Closed Down?

Government Message Displayed on StrikeGently Website?
According to many online sources Strike Gently was a file sharing site and it has been reported that many of the downloads available were illegal. Such resports suggest that the government has decided to step in and put a stop to the sites activity. But to me it simply looks like a big practical joke and I am sure the site will be back to normal very soon.
Many sites that have been displaying a variety of illegal downloads have been slowly closing down one after the other over the last year or so. The closing of Strike Gently today is suggested as many as being another one that is on a government hit list. Not so sure that there were ever any illegal downloads on this site. I am sure we will find out when it opens up again very soon.

all old people, listen to me, listen close. There is a new time coming, its everywhere, its in the news, its online, its in the talk. You are scared, this is a small example, we are going to take this back. Move out of the way, move out of our way. We are the new voice, the everchanging voice. We are going to take this world, and make it right, together. Get ready.
All of you old people, listen to me, and listen hard. There is a new time coming, its everywhere. Its in the news, on TV, in the talk. Where you walk. Its in everything, and you’re scared, scared of losing what made, scared of being wrong. There is a change, we are going to take this back, its just the beginning, we are going to make this different. We are anonymous and many, this is our world now, move out of the way. freeSG
Um StrikeGently didn’t host ANYTHiNG. They posted links for sites like mediafire and megaupload. They even had a statement that basically said “Like it? Buy it. Support your favorite artists.”
Wow, some douche would be trying to make money with the shirts… wish I thought of it first. D:<

so, let me get this straight . . . instead of attempts to protect u.s. citizens against murders, rape, conspiracies, fraud, – essentially all mental and physical harm that can happen to this nation’s people – the department of justice and homeland security are going after bloggers with great tastes in music, film and porn? not to mention, the department of justice’s lack of ability to question a government paid by corporations.
Even though strike gently is dead, our blog http://www.ozaytday.com is just as good. If you’re a fan check out our blog
